Walnut Creek’s November meeting was a great turnout. Our dinner theme was “Thanksgiving”, catered by Kinders. We “gave thanks” to having the best club at USI…recognizing Ed and Mary White, and Terry Seymour as LIFE MEMBERS of the club.

Congrats to these long time members who have been most generous with their time and talents supporting our club.
Two new members, Teresa Buckner and Lana Stefanac were sworn in by President Steve O’Connell.
The food was great, as was the deserts brought in to share. Thanks to the kitchen crew and everyone who helped.

On April Fool’s Day, we held our monthly meeting, catered by Kinder’s BBQ. The food and social experience was most enjoyable! We raised $1000 for the “Friends of Camp Concord”, a local non-profit that provides opportunite for underprivleged kids to attend summer camp in the Tahoe area. Thank you for your support, and to those who helped make the evening a success!
On Sunday, August 28th..Bay Point hosted a 100 bird skeet shoot. A great time was had by all..and we have good news to report: Walnut Creek member and “Trophy Chairman” Josh John scored a “97”! Josh earned both his “50 and 75” Straight patches on the same day! And our club president, Steve O’Connell shot a “99”…missing his first 100 Straight by only one bird! Shoot-offs between Layman Reed and Bob Lujan for “B” class, and Josh John and Ed Burgess for “C” class rounded out the competition. Jack Bernardi was the Gun Champ with a perfect score of “100”.
